If there's anyone who truly lives at the intersection of multiple worlds, it's me. Hi there! I'm Danait (pronounced da-night) and I'm the Founder & Principal Designer here at the HVC agency.
The living in 2 worlds thing began early on when my family immigrated to the U.S.A. I quickly had to learn to navigate 2 cultures and 2 languages which taught me how to see the world through multiple perspectives and points of view and is a vital part of my process as a designer and a strategist today.
I always thought I'd become a doctor so I got my degree in Biochemistry (Chemistry Concentration) and minors in Accounting & Psychology, but looking back I can see now that becoming an entrepreneur was always in the cards.
+ I started my very first profitable business with employees in the 6th grade selling custom designed bookmarks to my classmate (ask me about the time I negotiated with my principal at 12 years old).
+ I was the first place winner at college business competition where we had to create a business and marketing plan for a brand new business when I was a Junior in high school.
+ I have close to a decades' experience working in marketing and visual merchandising for brands like Aerie and Loft.
If you can't already tell I've always been really passionate about entrepreneurship and building businesses. To me it was the ultimate way to create impact in this world while building a life and legacy that I could be proud of.
I realized that not a lot of entrepreneurs had the ability to see the world like I do- living on the edges of both creativity and analytical thinking. I saw so many of these entrepreneurs falling short of their goals and struggling to reverse engineer the success they wanted in their business. And so Heart & Vine Creative was born. Since its inception we've been able to serve hundreds of entrepreneurs and get them real results that allow them to build a profitable and impactful business that aligns with their legacy!
